Bill Gates Is No Longer richer

Well after 13 years of being the top dog in the billionair clue Bill Gates, the Microsoft Guru is now in third place with only $58 Billion dollars compared to long time Friend , Warren Buffet's $62 Billion Dollars. Heck maybe Vista is Microsoft's downfall, but more likely the lost of $1.3 Billion dollars from European Union, the War on Open Source.  

stock market has been really crappy the last three months. Either way their is a new King in town and although he plans to donate like 95% of his money Warren Buffet is the richest person in the world.

Microsoft shares have fallen 15% since the company boldly attempted to merge with the search engine giant to better fight Google for Internet dominance.

Gates is preparing to give up day-to-day involvement in the company he co-founded 33 years ago to spend more time focused on his philanthropic endeavors.

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has $38.7 billion in assets, donates to causes aimed at bringing financial tools to the poor, speeding up the development of vaccines (for AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis), bettering America's lagging high schools.

Sells 20 million Microsoft shares every quarter, proceeds going to private investment vehicle Cascade; more than half of net worth now outside of Microsoft.

Company spent $6 billion to land Web ad company Aquantive last May.

Would-be rival to Apple's iPod, the Zune, not yet a hit.

Believes Microsoft's far-flung bets, including 10-year affair with Internet-based television, may soon pay off; says next 10 years will be the "most interesting" in software history.

Rahul Bajaj-prominent Indian businessman

Rahul Bajaj is a prominent Indian businessman. He comes from the business house started by Jamnalal Bajaj. The US$ 1.32 Billion Bajaj Auto is his flagship company. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan  in 2001.

His net worth is estimated to be at US$ 1.1 Billion. He was listed twentieth on the Forbes India's Richest 40  list of people.

He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School in USA, St. Stephen's College in Delhi, Government Law College in Mumbai and Cathedral and John Connon School.

He has one brother  Shishir Bajaj, with whom there was a recent business settlement. He has 3 cousins, Shekhar, Madhur and Niraj together with whom he controls the Bajaj Group of companies. Also, he has two sons Rajiv & Sanjiv and a daughter, Sunaina Kejriwal.

Rahul Bajaj is an alumnus of Harvard, St. Stephen's and Cathedral. He took over the reins of Bajaj Group in 1965. Under his stewardship, the turnover of the Bajaj Auto the flagship company has risen from Rs.72 million to Rs.46.16 billion. Rahul Bajaj created one of India's best companies in the difficult days of the licence-permit raj. He established factories at Akurdi and Waluj. In 1980s Bajaj Auto was top scooter producer in India and its Chetak brand had a 10-year waiting period.
